Screen printing includes preparation for screen printing. Screens used in the printing process used to be made of filaments. This process is called screen printing. The mesh fabric is coated with an opaque, non-porous film. Where there is a pattern, the opaque film should be removed, leaving a fine mesh screen. This area is where the pattern will be printed.
Most commercially available screen fabrics are first coated with a layer of photosensitive film, and then the patterned film is removed by photosensitive method to expose the pattern. Print by placing a silk screen on the fabric to be printed. Pour the paste into the print frame and use a scraper (a tool similar to a car windshield wiper) to force it through the screen. A separate screen is required for each color in the print so that different colors can be printed separately.
